Someone is excited about the holidays…

December 16, 2011

We had a great time in studio.  This little one was all smiles…There are more images to share…but many will be a Christmas surprise for family and friends…so this is all you get to see—for now. :)   Thank you ‘W’ family!  :)   Happy Holidays!

Sisters, Sisters…

December 15, 2011

It’s fun what a quick little ‘mini-session’ can turn out.  :)   These girls TOTALLY cracked me up-the entire time.  Laugh, laugh, laugh-at times, I could barely click my shutter!  It’s refreshing to see such a close relationship between sisters.  Thanks D & J!

All About Animals Rescue-Pins for Pets

September 21, 2011

I recently became involved in a local animal rescue, All About Animals Rescue, and had the opportunity to photograph one of their most recent events.

No more homeless pets is their goal and passion.  All About Animals is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to reducing/eliminating homeless pets in Michigan. They formed in June 2005 and offer high-quality, high volume, low-cost spay/neuter services to the public. They are happy to say that they help more than 20,000 animals a year through their spay/neuter surgeries, vaccine wellness clinics, microchips and adoption services. They expect to spay and neuter over 15,000 cats and dogs in this year alone. Through the Angel Outreach program, they continue to distribute free food to needy pet owners so they are able to keep their pets in their home. All About Animals offer special programs and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) training to the public to assist with the homeless cat population.

Please visit their website at http://www.allaboutanimalsrescue.org/ and see how YOU can get involved today!

All dolled up…

July 28, 2011

This little girl was so sweet and has the most beautiful eyes!  We had a great time in studio capturing her one-year portraits.  Thank you ‘W’ family!  It was so great to meet your little one.  Can’t wait until next time!

Headshots…

July 25, 2011

This young lady came in asking for some updated headshots and some ‘fun’ photos.  I was happy to help out.  We had a great time and ended up with just what she ordered.

Great Memories in Northern Michigan…

July 11, 2011

I had the pleasure of recently traveling to Mackinac Island with my husband and  Grandparents.  We had such a lovely time.  This was my first trip to Mackinac, the first of many.  :)

We had lunch at the Marina and spent some time at the historical Fort Mackinac.

Of course we HAD to take a carriage ride.  :)

The beautiful Grand Hotel.  Do you know why the ceiling of the porch is painted blue?  The blue color helps deter the birds from nesting in the rafters!

Arch Rock…

We even had time for a quick trip to the lower Tahquamenon Falls.

I think many of us forget the beauty that our very own MI has to offer.  I’m hoping to have the time to go on a color tour this fall!
